Obeying Jesus’ command to preach the Gospel can be fun, rewarding, and easy with the help of the Holy Spirit. The enemy tries to make it seem frightening, but don’t fear, because God is with you and helping you. Sometimes people respond negatively, while other times people repent, put their faith in Jesus, and are saved. This is a simple step-by-step guide that will help you share the Gospel effectively with anyone! This isn’t the only way, just a helpful tool.
two questions to help Identify if someone is saved
1) If anything happened to you, do you know for sure that you’d go to heaven?
*If they answer, “Yes,” then say, “That’s great, why do you say so?”
( If you’re still unsure, proceed to question 2. )
2) If you stood before God today and He asked you, “Why should I let you into My kingdom?” What would you tell Him?

1) In the beginning Jesus was with God, and He was God.
2) All things were made through Him.
3) God loved people, and they knew and loved Him.

1) But the devil came and tempted them,
2) and all people have chosen to sin against God.
3) The punishment of sin is death. That means separation from God in everlasting fire.

1) But God loves all of us so much,
2) that Jesus was willing to die in our place to save us.
3) He was beaten and crucified, but God raised Him from the dead.

1) In order to be saved, you have to repent and have faith in Jesus,
2) which means you turn away from sin toward God,
3) believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord.

1) Then God will forgive your sins and give you eternal life.
2) He’ll also give you the Holy Spirit to help you know, love, and obey God.
3) From there, your next step is to get baptized in water.
QUESTION: Are you willing to repent, believe, and confess Jesus is Lord?
Prayer of Repentance and Faith
If they say, “Yes,” then say, “Great, can I lead you through a short prayer?”
( Remember to pause every few words so they can repeat it. )
“Just repeat this after me: God, forgive me of all my sins. I turn away from sin toward You. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He died for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Baptize me with the Holy Spirit and help me follow Your lead every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Invite them to church, and if the Lord leads you to, personally disciple them.
